My last name is pronounced MAY-kah. It means flour in Polish.
Proud member of RWA and currently serve as the president of WisRWA.
I'm a military brat.
I'm an historical reenactor of multiple time periods. The time periods I have spent time in are: Elizabethan, Regency, American Civil War, Edwardian, World War II. I love to be as historically accurate in my impressions as possible. For the majority of the time periods I have portrayed a real individual and have spent significant time researching their lives. Ask me about Elsie Bowerman sometime. She's one of my heroes!
I hold a master's degree in Library and Information Science. One of my dreams is to work in an archive or museum playing with old things all day long. ILL and Cataloging are also really fun.
I'm a classically trained first soprano and would happily spend all my time singing in the stratosphere if I could. For now, I serve as a member of my church choir, though I really miss solo work.
I love to share the dying art of pin curls. When in doubt, keep brushing!
I'm a runner. When participating in a race, you will never find me without red lipstick.
